MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE
The revolutionary 6000dpi Pro-Aim Laser Sensor, in conjunction with its 10.5 megapixel resolution and 1000Hz polling rate, offers maximum precision, even transmitting lightning fast mouse movements with up to 30Gs of acceleration and with speeds of up to 200ips (5.08m/s) without loss or lag. Thanks to the Tracking & Distance Control Unit, which is now integrated in the laser sensor, the ROCCAT™ Kone[+] can also calculate the lift-off distance as well as fine-tune the sensor to suit the mousepad. The result: optimal tracking.
ERGONOMIC HYBRID SHELL
The highly praised hybrid shell for right-handers, including the Soft-Touch Surface, have been retained, but really useful core improvements have been made that further increase the comfort of Kone’s successor. The mouse wheel is completely new: distinctive notch positions are perfect for gaming, and the wider design makes it easier to control. The button above the mouse wheel has been made larger and you’ll now find a nicely-sized toggle switch below the mouse wheel. The result: maximum gaming comfort.
22 MOUSE FUNCTIONS
Thanks to the EasyShift[+] button, all the buttons – including the mouse wheel – can be assigned two functions such as macros or other functions. As a result, you now have 22 functions available at any one time instead of the usual 12.

4 LED MULTICOLOR LIGHT SYSTEM
Like before, the light system remains unbeaten. Four multicolor LEDs, together with the enhanced lightpipes and configurable effects, can light up, alternate or pulsate in more than four different colors at the same time. It’s a real eye-catcher on any desktop.
5 GAME PROFILES
You can configure your button assignments, including macros, DPI settings, the sensor sensitivity level and your lighting settings too, and save them to any one of 5 profiles on the 576kB of onboard memory. This allows you to customize your mouse to suit individual games. You can associate each profile with a particular application so the right button assignments, DPI and color settings, etc., are automatically loaded when you start the game. When a profile is set as the Windows Profile, the ROCCAT™ Kone[+] will always switch to this profile when you return to Windows after leaving a game or app. Additional profiles can be saved on your hard drive whenever you want, and then loaded to any one of the 5 profile slots using the driver menu.
MACRO MANAGER
Creating and editing your own command sequences is made easy thanks to the highly praised Macro Manager. Predefined macro presets for the top 20 PC games as well as several office apps make it even easier to customize the mouse – plus the new Loop Function now makes it possible to loop macros indefinitely.
SOUND FEEDBACK
The famous ROCCAT voice gives immediate feedback when you change DPI settings, profiles, the volume level or sensitivity setting. As you don’t need to look at an additional display on the screen or on the mouse itself, nothing will distract from the gameplay. It really is as easy at that.

EasyShift[+] MacroFROM OFFICE TO GAMING...
Over the years, the computer mouse has developed – depending on its area of use – from a 2-button mouse into a real marvel of buttons and functions. Gamers in particular like to have a load of buttons at their disposal so that they can selectively and quickly execute as many commands as possible.
THE PROBLEM: ACCESSING THE BUTTONS
Nowadays, some gaming mice are often teeming with extra buttons so that you can access as many commands as possible at the same time – with the end result being that every usable piece of real estate on a mouse has been utilized to the max making it increasingly difficult to accommodate new buttons from an ergonomic design perspective. As a result, they are increasingly difficult to access with your fingers – making it more complicated to use the mouse and increasing the time it takes to get used to the mouse after you’ve bought it.
So, how can you double the number ofEasyShift[+] Multimedia button functions on a mouse without needing to sacrifice ease-of-use, accessibility and ergonomics?
THE SOLUTION: ROCCAT™ EASYSHIFT[+]
ROCCAT™ manages to overcome this problem with a sophisticated invention – the EasyShift[+] Button Duplicator. That’s the name of the practical side button on the mouse which doubles the amount of functions in one fell-swoop.
EASYSHIFT[+]: ASSIGNING DUAL FUNCTIONS TO THE MOUSE BUTTONS
ROCCAT™ EasyShift[+] allows mouse buttons and mousewheel to perform additional tasks by assigning them two functions. In terms of the way it works, the EasyShift[+] button is very similar to the Shift key on a keyboard. For instance, if you hold down the EasyShift[+] button and press one of the other standard mouse buttons at the same time, you execute a second function (=dual-assignment).
This makes it possible to assign each individual mouse button, as well as all mousewheel directions (up/down/depressed), not just one, but two individual functions. In doing so, the number of available functions increases from 12 to 22.
Convenient, preconfigured functions are available (see the table) in the driver for each of the mouse buttons as well as the mousewheel – you can also assign your own macros to the buttons.
EASYAIM AND EASYWHEEL
A second button next to the EasyShift[+] button can be used for the EasyAim and EasyWheel functions. While the EasyAim button is held depressed, you’ll automatically game at a preselected DPI setting – really useful in situations such as when precise in-game aiming is called for, where a quick DPI setting change is required. The EasyWheel function works in the same way and can be used to control the Aero Flip 3D feature in Windows 7 or even the volume level, among other things.
PRACTICAL MACRO CONTROLS:
A good example of using secondary button assignments with the help of EasyShift[+] is when macro controls that are integrated in the driver are selected. Among other examples for games and office apps, here you’ll find multimedia functions which you can use to launch, as well as control, your media player using just the mouse. For instance, the mousewheel can be used to control the volume level as soon as you hold the EasyShift[+] button depressed.
In keeping with that, the left and right mouse buttons can then be assigned ‘Previous/Next track’ in combination with the EasyShift[+] button. Doing this becomes so intuitive that ROCCAT beta testers no longer wanted to do without the EasyShift[+] button after a short while.
Another advantage of EasyShift[+] is that you get the range of functions in an extensive package with buttons that are just as easy to access. The best in ergonomics and maximum functionality can finally coexist in harmony.
YOUR OWN MACROS IN COMBINATION WITH EASYSHIFT[+]
The Kone[+] also comes with the award-winning ROCCAT™ Macro Manager. Use the Macro Manager to create short or very long and complex command sequences for your applications and games. Just like the preconfigured ones supplied with the driver, these custom macros can be really easily assigned to any one of the mouse buttons – and of course as a dual-assignment in combination with the EasyShift[+] button.
